Christian artist Anne Wilson reflected on what 2026 has brought her so far — and looked ahead to God’s plan for the rest of the year.

“2026 has been such a sweet year so far,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post. “The Lord has been teaching me so much about His goodness, kindness, and grace.”

Wilson shared that a phrase she’s focusing on this year is “Be still & know,” explaining, “Be still and know that He is God — and that He has it all under control.”

“The first five weeks of this year have already been filled with so many moments where I’ve needed that reminder,” she continued. “What a beautiful truth it is to behold: the same God who created the universe holds us in the palm of His hands. He has it all under control. All we are called to do is be still and know that He is God.”

The singer is currently on tour in support of her 2025 album, Stars. She recently announced she was extending the nationwide tour into 2026.

“The STARS Tour is continuing this spring!” she said in a statement, via the Gospel Music Association. “My heart is overflowing thinking about all the moments we’ve shared so far — the worship, the stories and everything God has already done on this journey. And the best part?! We’re just getting started!”

Wilson continued, “I’ve loved getting to share these new songs with y’all, and I can’t wait to bring them to even more cities. Bring your family and friends and let’s gather together to remember that the same God who made the stars made YOU and knows you by name.”

In an interview with Songwriter Universe, the singer spoke about the writing process for her third album.

“This record is about a lot of self-reflection on my childhood, going back to the dreams I had as a little girl,” Wilson explained. “That was when I wanted to be an astronaut and work for NASA…that was my passion growing up. But when Jacob [her older brother] passed away, everything shifted and I began to dream new dreams and to lay down what I wanted for my life. I was like…Okay I’m gonna let God lead it, and sure enough it was music. So Stars ties together that idea of what it means to lay down your dreams and to let God write your story.”

She pointed to themes of grief and faith present on the project, saying it “all ties together in this overarching theme of reflection, and then also that hope of the future as well.”

With plenty of new tour dates on the way, it looks like Wilson has lots to look forward to in 2026!
