You Won’t Want to Miss This Very Special NCIS Guest Star

NCIS has unveiled a very special guest star for its upcoming Halloween episode — KNOTS LANDING’s Donna Mills!
Mills will play Wanda Prescott, an antique collector and a billionaire’s widow, in the Oct. 29 episode.
The episode, titled “The Trouble with Hal,” follows NCIS after they are “called in to investigate when a lieutenant returns home on Halloween Eve to find a surprise party being thrown for someone else at his home,” NCIS/releases/?view=110483-NCIS-is-called-in-to-investigate-when-a-lieutenant-returns-home-on-halloween-eve-to-find-a-surprise-party-being-thrown-for-someone-else-at-his-place-o">according to a press release from Paramount.
“We’ll have to wait to see how Mills’ Wanda Prescott fits into the case, but based on these photos, it’s safe to say she has some sort of connection — and that description that she’ll do anything for her family suggests she could very well end up at the very least a suspect,” TV Insider NCIS-season-22-donna-mills-photos-halloween-episode/">reported, referring to stills from the episode that show her interacting with the NCIS team.
Mills has been making her return to Hollywood, most notably in Jordan Peele’s NOPE, following a few decades off. The actress put her acting career on hold for something more important — raising her daughter.

While Mills’ guest role on NCIS is exciting, many viewers are waiting anxiously to see how upcoming episodes affect Knight and Palmer’s working relationship. The characters officially broke up before Season 22 after Knight accepted a job in California, but a move back to D.C. has them working together again.
“Even though they broke up, there is true love between the two of them and a genuine affection and respect,” Katrina Law, who plays Knight, NCIS-season-22-premiere-recap-knight-returns-team-palmer-relationship/">told TV Insider. “There’s a lot of loss on both sides and a lot of trauma that comes with it. So it’ll be interesting to see if they recognize that, if they talk about it, if their love overcomes that. But ultimately I think there are going to be some really fun and awkward, awkward, awkward moments.”
NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder has previously spoken about how these two characters are navigating working together post-breakup.
