The title BESIDE STILL WATERS isn’t a truthful representation of the actual movie. Although the lake is still and calm, the movie itself is chock-full of immorality and is anything but peaceful, until the last few scenes where people must choose to forgive and accept each other or let others go. It’s difficult to follow any great sense of a story in BESIDE STILL WATERS since the movie is plastered with explicit lewd content, alcohol and drugs. The movie has a godless worldview that mitigates any of the positive messages about around friends coming to help a bereaved friend. The immoral content makes BESIDE STILL WATERS an excessive movie that media-wise viewers will avoid.
