What You Need To Know:

BIGFOOT is a familiar story of a teen boy befriending the mythical creature only to have to rescue him from nefarious villains. Percy is a quiet teen who is infatuated with Madison, a cheerleader. Percy discovers Bigfoot and befriends him, visiting him often. Percy shares the secret of Bigfoot with her. However, two bumbling hunters also spot Bigfoot and kidnap him. Percy, Madison and their friend Leonard hunt down the villains and set Bigfoot free. The villains give chase and only by Percy’s quick thinking and Bigfoot’s brawn do the villains get their due and Bigfoot is set free back to his home in the woods.

BIGFOOT is a fun story that is free of much negative content and tells the story in an adventurous way. The script often tells us what the characters are thinking instead of showing us and some of the dialogue is rather clichéd. That said, it’s a fun family movie that will keep you rooting for Bigfoot. There are instances of Percy and Madison lying to Percy’s mom to cover up about Bigfoot’s existence. There are also some mild obscenities and a profanity said by the teens.

Percy is a quiet teen who is infatuated with Madison, a cheerleader who doesn’t show him any interest. Percy discovers Bigfoot and befriends him, visiting him often. When Percy helps out Madison, she softens to him and Percy shares the secret of Bigfoot with her.

However, two bumbling hunters also spot Bigfoot and kidnap him in hopes to profiting from owning the creature. Percy, Madison and their friend Leonard hunt down the villains and set Bigfoot free. The villains give chase and only by Percy’s quick thinking and Bigfoot’s brawn do the villains get their due and Bigfoot is set free back to his home in the woods.
