Adam Beach stars as Squanto, a brave young warrior who is captured and taken to England by deceitful traders shortly after his marriage to the beautiful princess Nakooma.
This wonderful Disney movie is free of offensive content — save for appropriate action violence — and contains an exceptionally positive portrayal of Christian belief. Friendship, selfless love and reverence for God are portrayed beautifully. Technically speaking, the photography is stunning, and the action is daring and exciting. The story is wonderful, and the acting performances are outstanding. Adam Beach, as Squanto, is the first Native American Indian to be cast in the lead role of a major motion picture, and he is phenomenal. All the elements of this fine movie work exceptionally well. SQUANTO is sure to be a top-10 pick.
