In “Blessings. . . and New Beginnings?,” Erin, with the help of her friend Kelsey, throws a baby shower with her due date coming soon. Nathan and Lawson also have some visitors from New York who get taught a few things about what it’s like to live in the country. There is little to no conflict, and only a minor, dull problem that is solved very quickly. There’s also one emotional scene where balloons are released into the sky for babies lost to miscarriages.
