Lila is excited for another holiday season as theater manager. However, her bosses tell her they need outstanding ticket sales for their upcoming Christmas show of THE NUTCRACKER. In an effort to improve sales, they hire a new head of marketing named Glen.

Lila recognizes Glen immediately as an old high school classmate who used to prank her and make fun of her in front of the entire school. Glen treats Lila like these things never happened, but Lila finds it hard to believe that he’s changed.

The unlikely pairing must work together on the theater’s upcoming production, but soon they realize that their history is the least of their problems. The star ballerina that Glen said would be the difference maker for the show says she’s considering not performing.
