SOUND OF FREEDOM follows the inspiring true story of a former government agent who puts his life on the line to rescue hundreds of children out of sex trafficking. While on a shift, Tim busts a pedophile connected to sex trafficking. Tim pretends to befriend the man but arrests him as soon as it’s confirmed he’s bought a child. Tim and his team arrest another man who’s bringing the boy across the border from Mexico into California.
Tim talks to the boy and learns that his sister was also sold into sex trafficking. Tim learns that the boy was sexually abused but is able to reconnect him with his father. Spurred on by hope that he can reunite the sister with her brother and father, he goes to South America to run a sting operation with a former cartel member and a local government agent.
Supported by his wife in the States, Tim soon realizes that the US government can’t fund his operation. Fueled by hope, Tim becomes a vigilante and begins to execute a large-scale plan to save the little girl and many other children caught in sex trafficking.
