Dr. Ted Baehr CHERUB WINGS is
one of the more extraordinary
video series coming from the
entertainment media, and Fox
Home Entertainment is
distributing it. In fact, it
has the big 20th Century Fox
logo right on its cover, and
yet these wonderful,
well-animated children's
series talks freely about
Jesus, his plan for salvation,
his miracles, and doing what
Jesus would do. It does all
this in a very clever,
entertaining way, with some of
the best songs in children's
videos. It is aimed at little
ones, but any big one will
enjoy it, too. The episode
MOLDY GOLDY starts out with
two little cherubs playing
soccer. When the ball bursts,
one cherub wants to throw it
away. The other tells the
story of Jesus feeding the
5,000 with two small loaves of
bread and a couple of fish,
and the fact that seven
basketfuls were collected
afterwards! This miracle,
which is quite extraordinary,
helps the little cherub
understand that they shouldn't
waste the soccer ball. Then,
in an entertaining way, the
program proceeds to explore
the topics of selfishness,
greed, pride, and envy, and
concludes in a winsome,
loveable, wonderful
way. Packed with great songs,
CHERUB WINGS tells little ones
that we should do what Jesus
would do: be humble, give,
care, serve, and love. This
is quite an extraordinary
series to come from 20th
Century Fox. MOVIEGUIDEĀ® is
happy to commend them,
wholeheartedly. Please address
