WWE’s Nikki Bella Shares Worship Lyrics After Mother’s Extensive Brain Surgery

WWE’s Nikki Bella posted Hillsong United’s “Oceans” lyrics for her millions of followers on Instagram after requesting prayer for her ailing mother.
In the photo Nikki quoted, “And my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior/ Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters, wherever you would call me.”
Nikki’s mother, Kathy Laurinaitis, underwent brain surgery this past week, which spurred many Christian posts from the WWE superstar about hope in Christ.
Nikki and her twin sister, Brie, recently released their memoir, Incomparable, which highlights the faith of their youth.
“My sister and I were part of a church youth group,” wrote Brie in the memoir. The twins were raised Catholic but, deviated from some of the practices of the faith of their youth.
For instance, in season 5 of their reality show, TOTAL BELLAS, Brie and her husband, Bryan, looked to a Native American healer to help him with his depression. Brie also mentioned in Incomparable that she prays to her deceased high school sweetheart.
On their podcast The Bellas Podcast, the two also had one episode devoted to finding “your truth.”
However, it seems the Holy Spirit may be drawing them back to Him.
In light of recent events, Nikki said on Instagram, “For those of you that believe I’m going to end in a prayer. Thank you God for giving me an open heart, an open mind and open eyes to feel, educate and see the pain of the past and the hurt that it has continued to cause so many. Thank you for giving me the courage and bravery to be vulnerable and uncomfortable, to use my voice even when it’s scary, to ask questions even when it’s uncomfortable, even if it makes me feel ashamed that I didn’t know the answers and to be present and truly feel other’s pain and cries.”
Nikki added, “Thank you for my platform and guiding me to use my voice. I know that you made us as one community, you didn’t define us or segregate us by our skin color, but made us different by our souls. I will continue to spread love and light. And stand up for the voiceless and the ones that need to be heard. I pray that 2020 truly marks the year of a new era. An era where we are all finally seen as souls and not colors. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. 🙏🏼❤️✨
Both Nikki and Brie are expecting babies, due within three weeks of each other.
