The Biblical Reason SAY YES TO THE DRESS Star Lori Allen Won’t Let Fear Cripple Her

Atlanta SAY YES TO THE DRESS star Lori Allen says that she won’t let fear cripple her because of her belief in God and the Bible.
“I’ve had all kinds of crazy things happen to me, but yet, I have not let that fear sneak,” said Allen. “Because I believe in God and believe in the Bible, and fear not is what I’m going with.”
Allen’s faith comforted her after a recent fall that injured her. But poetically, her faith keeps her upright.
“I’ve read somewhere that over 80 times the Bible says ‘Fear not,’ and that’s how I live my life. I am not going to live my life in fear,” said the bridal expert. “But I have had breast cancer; I’ve fallen and landed on my face. I had a terrible fall just last year and broke everything. It was just like an accident that happened in a second.”
Allen added, “But there are times when you have to dig deep, and I find, as Christians, you have to have hope, with faith.”
In Allen’s new book, Say Yes to What’s Next, she details why she believes women in the bridal industry should approach work with a sense of joy.
“Now, do I have a passion for what I do? Absolutely,” said Allen. “I don’t do it unless I want to do it and unless I love what I’m doing, and you’ve got to wake up every day and get up for your day with joy. I think we all need to look forward to our day, and to look forward to what’s next.”
Allen has been in the bridal game for nearly 40 years. This July, she and husband Eddie celebrated 41 years of marriage. The pair have two daughters.
Throughout the COVID-19, Allen has been vocal about encouraging fans and followers, pointing them to the Lord.
Allen said on Instagram, “Let us remember 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. Please stay healthy, safe, and positive! We will get through this together! 🙏 ❤️”
