Country Singer Darius Rucker Blesses Guests by Buying Their Breakfast

Grammy-winning artist Darius Rucker decided to spread some love by treating the guests in a South Carolina IHOP to a free meal. Rucker stopped by the local IHOP in Mt. Pleasant, SC, surprising diners with breakfast and servers with a generous tip.

“It was a full restaurant, there were a lot of people. I added it up and he paid,” General Manager Stephen Vitale told CBS Affiliate WCSC-TV.

Vitale said that people were excited and appreciative. However, many did not recognize Rucker, who wore a mask into the restaurant.

“It caused a lot of excitement,” Vitale said. “We know him because he does come in quite often and we consider him a regular. It was a good morning at IHOP.”
