From ‘Flurona’ to Rats, Sadie Robertson Huff Needs Your Prayers

Sadie Robertson Huff began 2022 overcoming tough challenges. The motivational speaker, actress, and author shared in an Instagram post just how difficult this first month has been for her and her growing family.
After catching a combination of COVID-19 and the flu, which us commonly referred to as “flurona,” Huff was unable to make a scheduled in-person engagement at Passion 2022. However, she was able to deliver her stirring sermon to an empty room which was then broadcasted for audiences at the conference.
Despite the disappointment of not being able to attend, Huff remained positive saying, “I was so bummed to miss passion [sic] but I was so thankful that God gave me the strength to still preach my message to an empty room despite being so sick. My faith from that experience grew so much. His spirit is truly living within us!”
On their way home from Atlanta, Huff learned that there were a couple of rats making quite a mess in their family home. So now Huff, her husband Christian, and their infant daughter Honey have been, in her words, “floating around trying to make the most of it” as they approach the end of the first full week of being unable to return home.

Despite all of this upheaval, the Huffs just released a new podcast episode on YouTube titled “Don’t Compare Yourself to Past Versions of Yourself,” showing just how resilient and future focused this family has become.
After contracting COVID-19 while pregnant, then walking through illness as baby Honey was hospitalized with RSV late last year, Huff’s outlook remains upbeat.
An Instagram post from January 1st of this year truly captures her attitude towards life, the importance of her faith, and how she overcomes these obstacles.
“Can’t wait to go into 2022 with my people and continue to see God work in the everyday moments! This year I have really begun to love and look forward to the 10000 small moments even if they challenge me, more than the 3 or 4 big moments. Because those 10000 moments are the ones that make you who you are!”
