Tori Roloff Quotes Esther: Moms Were Made for Such a Time as This

By Movieguide® Contributor

Reality TV star and Christian mom Tori Roloff recently reflected on a hard day she had raising her children in a “broken” world.

“Being a mom is so messy sometimes,” Roloff said on Instagram. “Today was a super heavy day. It was emotionally exhausting and I found myself overstimulated by everything.”

“I struggle a lot with raising our kids in world that has so much brokenness…And it got to me today,” she admitted.

In an episode of LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD, Roloff said, “My niche in life, I truly believe is being a mom. I love being a mom.”

Roloff wants to raise her children to be a light for others, but she acknowledges that children should not be over-pressured. “That’s not always their burden to bear. Sometimes kids just have to be kids,” she said.

“There is so much brokenness in the world right now that it’s hard to stick around social media,” she said. “It’s hard to show up to spaces like this and not think of how it all effects my family.”

“However, we were made for a time such as this (Esther 4:14),” Roloff said. “Us moms were made to help guide our babies through this. I needed that reminder too!”

Roloff wrapped up her post with an encouragement to other moms.

“Being a mom is messy!” She said, “But you’re not alone, and we are doing the best work! Keep goin mama!”

Movieguide® recently reported Roloff’s thoughts about her son Jackson’s first soccer game:

‘I feel like Jackson (and others) are starting to notice that something is different about him” she wrote. ‘At Jackson’s first soccer game, the other team was asking why he was so small. Purely out of curiosity I believe-not bullying or being malicious-just curious. It stuck with him enough to tell me on the sideline though. I told him ‘That’s how God made you, now show them how fast you are!’ He then proceeded to score a goal, and I can’t tell you how stoked we were.’

Roloff also recently posted about her other son, Josiah, on her Instagram after she shared a passage from 2 Kings:

I loved learning about King Josiah. It made me think of my sweet Si. How I pray that he shares the truth like King Josiah. How I pray that he (and all my kids) can help return those who are lost to God, or help those who are seeking find Jesus.

I know this little guy has big plans. He is determined and stubborn and independent already. He has spice and attitude and opinions already and I know he will share them all with the world.
