Candace Cameron Bure Humbled God Uses Her to Spread Gospel in Hollywood

Candace Cameron Bure is “humbled” that God is using her to share the gospel with those in Hollywood.
“It’s pretty incredible from the people that I’ve walked hand-in-hand with and encouraged along the way,” Bure told Faithwire. “And just to have a small part of knowing that I planted a seed, or maybe spoke a word that encouraged them along to become a believer—or strengthen their faith in Christ.”
“It humbles me that God would use me,” she added. “I give Him such great thanks for allowing me to use my voice and not be fearful of it—to not sit scared to tell my friends about Jesus.”
One friend she helped come to faith is her fellow Great American Family star Danica McKellar.
Bure brought McKellar to her church, where she saw a Passion Play.
“…all I can say is that something happened,” McKellar said. “My dad, who found his relationship with God in his 40s, he says the Holy Spirit came to me. All I know is I was flooded with this love and understanding.”
Now, she wants others to feel the same love of God that she feels.
“I just want people to feel that they’re not alone, that there’s love for you at any time, and it’s such a gift,” McKellar stated.
Bure continues to share her faith with her fans and colleagues alike. The rise of social media over the last 10 years has given her the perfect place to reflect on what God is teaching her.
She recently shared a photo of a beautiful rainbow. She captioned the photo, “This is the most extraordinary rainbow ? I’ve ever seen in my life!!!! All 7 colors were SO vivid in person. It’s also a double rainbow. I had to pull over and take photos. I’ve been praying this week for God to give me a physical sign or word from Him, and I’m pretty sure He just did. Enjoy the rainbow and the promise!!”

…“I formed a friendship with Joel and Luke and the whole Smallbone family because of the show when they performed for my birthday, so they are an incredible family, and they are so talented,” Bure said of taking on the film. “Won so many Grammys, and yet I never knew their humble beginnings, and they share that story on stage at their concerts.”
“When they came and shared the script with me and I heard their story, it’s unbelievable,” she continued. “So, they are a family of seven kids. Their dad was a very well-known music producer in Australia, and he lost everything after a deal went bad, and they moved to the U.S. They immigrated here and had absolutely nothing, like a jar of a few dollars, and so this story is how it’s about miracles. It’s about the unsung hero who, in my view from this movie, is their mom, Helen, who really kept the pieces together of their family.”
