Russell Wilson Leads Steelers to Win: ‘God Is Good’

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson quieted any critic that thought rookie Justin Fields should be QB1.
On Sunday, Wilson threw three passing touchdowns for a total of 195 yards.
Christhlete shared a video of Wilson’s post-game interview where he, once again, gave all the glory to God.
“I’m just grateful that we won,” he began. “It’s about us and being in tune together and loving this moment. I thank God, I thank my family and the kids, and God is good. He is faithful.”
In the final seconds of the game, Wilson threw a “game-winning touchdown pass to Mike Williams with 2:22 remaining in the game, leading the Steelers back from a 10-point second-half deficit,” the Steelers media reported.

“It was a big-time catch by Mike,” Wilson said. “I just tried to give him a chance, you know, and let him do his thing. The guy had 1000-yard seasons over his career. A guy whose made plays, a guy who’s faced adversity. You love it when guys face adversity and they come through on the other end of it.”
Since Wilson’s return to the QB1 slot, the Steelers are on a three-game winning streak and are “now 7-2 heading into a monumental AFC North showdown next Sunday against the Ravens (6-3).”
“BY Faith!!! Great Team win! God is good!” he posted after the game.
“Excellence is built daily,” Wilson emphasized. “It’s the obsession with the process. It’s obsession with the adversity too. Knowing that you’re going to come out on the other end of it. And I think so many people, they check out when it gets a little bit hard and tough [situations] and obstacles come your way. I think great players, the great organizations and the great teams are able to overcome obstacles and just trust the process.”
