The first episode introduces a Texas family of six and what inspired Jason and Tiffany to take their children on a grand adventure to capture a sense of wonder through exploration.

The first episode of season one, entitled “Sail into the Unknown”, is shot with documentary-style interviews in which the Meltons discuss the challenges they’ve faced as a family. From Tiffany’s cancer diagnosis, treatment, and remission to Jason’s brush with death during a skiing accident, the couple goes into detail about leaning on their faith through their recoveries. Their struggles led them to desire to make the most of their time on earth and create a one-of-a-kind experience for their family.

Inspired by the Woods family, an Instagram family who shares their sailing trips around the world with their followers, the Meltons reached out to meet Allen and Irenka Wood and their three children.
