Dave and Jenny Marrs are still at work on Season 7 of FIXER TO FABULOUS.
“We are still hard at work on season 7!” the couple shared on Instagram on Sept. 16. “Another reveal in the books…”
The clip showed Dave holding a flag next to Jenny and their film crew. Fans of the show know that the last step of any of their renovations is hanging a U.S. flag.
The couple have been filming since early March. TV Insider pointed out that just because a show is filming its next season, it’s not official until HGTV says it is official.
Earlier this year, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas had begun production on Season 5 of BARGAIN BLOCK when HGTV cancelled it. HGTV hasn’t officially renewed FIXER TO FABULOUS, but as the Marrs have filmed for over six months now, it’s likely to happen soon.

In August, Jenny teased a major twist in one of their projects: An “unexpected and tragic pivot we have ever experienced in our twenty years of building homes,” she said. The project will be revealed when Season 7 airs.
The Marrses weren’t given a premiere date, but they expect the season to release sometime this fall.
Earlier this month, the couple introduced their new FIXER TO FABULOUS feature in the Design Home game. The spaces in the game are inspired by real FIXER TO FABULOUS renovations.
They celebrated the 100th episode of their show in August.
Jenny wrote, “We have worked so very hard (with the most amazing team alongside us) in order to create a show we can be proud of. Celebrating our 100th episode this week was an incredible milestone that most shows never achieve. Looking back at the past 100 episodes, we are filled with immense gratitude that we get to do this work.”
She shared her appreciation for HGTV and the flexible production team who helped them make the show in a way that’s true to them.
“We get to create beautiful homes for beautiful families in our beautiful town and YOU choose to watch it all unfold,” she told her Instagram followers. “What an immense gift that is. Words fall short to express our gratitude and love. We continue to work on this year’s homes and we can’t wait to see you back on @hgtv later this fall! ♥️”
“We didn’t think we’d be doing it this long,” Dave said previously. “We feel like it’s a ministry. We feel like when we’re not supposed to do the show anymore, God will say ‘I’m closing this door and opening another one.’”
For now, we’re glad that this couple is still renovating! Hopefully Season 7 is better than ever.
