Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA announced its plan to host its own Super Bowl halftime show in protest of the current performer, Bad Bunny.
Turning Point USA shared on social media, “It’s true, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show. Performers and event details coming soon. 2.8.2026.”

The post provided a survey link for people to share what kind of artists they want to see perform at the halftime show. The survey included the poll, “What music genres would you like to see featured?”
The possible answers included “Anything in English, Americana, Classic Rock, Country, Hip Hop, Pop or Worship.”
It is unclear where the All American Halftime Show will air, but it is certain that viewers will have to switch away from the Super Bowl to access Turning Point’s show.
The alternate show comes in protest after the NFL announced Bad Bunny as the performer for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The Puerto Rican artist recently made comments about skipping his tour in the United States “due to fears about his fans encountering ICE agents,” per Variety, and some people sounded off about his Spanish-language music catalog.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem appeared on Benny Johnson’s podcast, where she revealed that ICE agents will flood the Super Bowl to keep American’s safe.
“I have the responsibility for making sure that everybody [who] goes to the Super Bowl has the opportunity to enjoy it and to leave. And that’s what America is about,” she said on the podcast.
Noem added that only “law-abiding Americans who love this country” should be attending the Super Bowl.

As of last Friday, TPUSA’s halftime show performers hadn’t been announced yet, though several Christian artists, separate from TPUSA, also expressed interest in a family-friendly halftime show.
“What if we did an alternative, family friendly halftime show for the Super Bowl?” Cory Asbury said in a video on social media. “Every year, everyone is all up in arms about the performer for the halftime show, and I get it because, nine times out of 10, it’s raunchy as heck.”
“You’re seeing stuff you don’t want to see [and] you’re hearing stuff you don’t want to hear, especially for your kids,” he explained.
“So what if we threw together an alternate show at a different venue with just the biggest Christian artists and glorified the name of Jesus on a gigantic scale, at a gigantic level,” Asbury continued. “I’ve already talked to my boy Forrest [Frank]. He is ‘down to clown.’”
Though details haven’t been announced yet, Super Bowl fans everywhere can get excited for a family-friendly, pro-American alternative halftime show.
