Country star Jessie James Decker joined the hit TV series SPECIAL FORCES: WORLD’S TOUGHEST TEST and showcased her “warrior” bloodline.

Jessie, who calls herself a “proud military brat,” and her husband, former NFL player Eric Decker, appeared on the show together. Both their fathers served in the military, which Jessie said was an advantage.

“My brother’s words stuck in my mind more than anybody. Before we had to turn our phones in, he sent me this long message about, you know, how our dads were in the military,” she shared in an interview with Fox News Digital. “My dad and stepdad were both Army/Air Force. And he was like, listen, he used some language, they were warriors. They were warriors, and you have that in your blood. And so was our grandfather. So was our great-grandfather.”

“This has been in our bloodline forever. I want you to channel that warrior inside of you and just do it. And so I thought about my brother’s words every single day and wanted to make my family proud, truly, because I’m a very proud military brat,” Jessie added.

While on SPECIAL FORCES, Jessie felt frustrated because most U.S. citizens have no idea how precious life is back home.

“Lots of emotions and, I think, probably a little frustration too, if I’m being completely honest,” Jessie shared. “I think that as we were there, and I saw how people are living in Morocco [where SPECIAL FORCES films] and seeing how hard it is just day in day out what our military goes through, it almost stirred up an anger of like I can’t believe anyone would ever complain back home.”

“We have it so good, you know. It definitely lit a fire in me. I will never complain again,” she continued. “Just because we have it so good and look at, look at how these men and women are fighting for us and the living conditions and what they’re going through just to keep our country safe. It just, yeah, it fired me up.”

While on the show, Jessie nearly broke her nose. In one challenge, she had to fall backward into water. As she fell, she over-rotated and landed straight on her face, ultimately resulting in a visit to the on-set doctor.

“Find out what happens tonight 👀 Any guesses? ( ps. Other than getting a spinal patch after Bubby, this might be up there with one of the worst pains I’ve ever felt. Felt like I face planted onto concrete),” Jessie wrote in a post on social media.

Unfortunately, Eric had to exit SPECIAL FORCES after a brutal injury to his hip. When Jessie found out, she immediately began packing her bags.

“You sure you don’t want to stay?” Eric asked Jessie, according to PEOPLE.

“Yeah, we’re going together,” Jessie responded. “Let’s go home. We ride together. We fly together,” she added.

SPECIAL FORCES certainly reenforced Jessie’s appreciation for her family’s military legacy.
