Big news for WHEN CALLS THE HEART fans — Erin Krakow and husband Ben Rosenbaum are expecting their first child!
“So much to be grateful for!!!” the couple captioned a joint Instagram post featuring photos of them holding up a sonogram.
Their WHEN CALLS THE HEART co-stars joined in the celebration in the comments, with Kevin McGarry writing, “Congratulations! What wonderful parents you’ll be!”

His wife, and fellow WCTH actress, Kayla Wallace commented, “CRYING! That is going to be one lucky baby.”
Krakow and Rosenbaum met on the set of WHEN CALLS THE HEART, going public with their relationship in 2024. The couple tied the knot this summer.
The pair have not spoken publicly about their relationship, preferring to post photos of each other on social media, but Krakow spoke to PEOPLE in 2024 about the couples who have been brought together by WCTH.
“I think there’s just always been a bit of magic in Hope Valley,” she told the outlet. “There’s something so special about our show and the energy in Jamestown [British Columbia, Canada], where we shoot.”
Krakow continued, “There’s just something special about the show and the people involved. When you put a bunch of special people together in one place, connections are bound to be made.”
She and Rosenbaum aren’t the only ones who found love on the set of WCTH. McGarry and Wallace struck up a relationship in 2018 after meeting during Season 6’s production. They confirmed their relationship in 2020 and, four years later, revealed they were married.
“I owe a lot to WHEN CALLS THE HEART for not only helping my career and giving me a job and meeting all my friends, but meeting Kayla, meeting my wife, it’s been the most special part of being on that show,” McGarry told Swooon.
The couple have also appeared in Hallmark movies together, and McGarry said they “love working together.”
“I’d never say never,” he said of potentially appearing in another project alongside Wallace. “But, like I said, she’s a busy lady right now, and she’s got prior commitments.”
Wallace is currently starring in YELLOWSTONE creator Taylor Sheridan’s new show, LANDMAN, appearing alongside stars like Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore.
Making things even busier for the couple? The news that they’re expecting!
“We can’t wait to meet you, baby,” McGarry and Wallace announced earlier this month in a joint Instagram post. “Premiering 2026.”
It looks like Hope Valley will be full of new life in the coming months!
