Get ready to see a new side of the Robertsons! DUCK DYNASTY’s Jep and Jessica Robertson are starring in JEP & JESS: BEYOND THE BAYOU, a new reality show for Great American Media.
“We’re Jessica and Jep Robertson and we’ve got some exciting news to share,” Jessica said in an announcement video. “We’re joining The Great American Family.”
Jep added, “Our new unscripted series is a journey that takes us out of our Louisiana comfort zone and into a brand new chapter, expanding our roots to a ranch in Texas.”

BEYOND THE BAYOU will follow the couple as they split time between Louisiana and Texas, taking place over eight episodes.
“Inspired by some recent success with vacation rental properties in the Lone Star State, Jep & Jess are going all-in, taking a risky leap of faith by making a sizeable financial investment in a potential legacy family business for their children and grandchildren,” a description of the show reads.
The description continues, “As they juggle parenting, grandparenting, and the same hilarious misadventures that made the Robertson name famous, viewers will fall in love all over again. Whether it’s Jep trading duck calls for dusty boots or Jess bringing her homesteading heart to a new landscape (with a new look), this next chapter is filled with humor, heart, joy, and chaos, of building something that lasts.”
“Jep and Jessica are going to feel right at home on our network” said Kaitlyn Haubrich, Chief Brand Officer at Great American Media. “The series isn’t just about them building physical homes; it’s about creating spaces where people led by faith can truly be at home. Jep and Jessica added in a joint statement, “We chose to partner with Great American Media because their values so closely mirror our own. This isn’t the only GAF project Jep and Jessica have been part of; the pair recently appeared in holiday romance HAVE WE MET THIS CHRISTMAS? alongside Danica McKellar and Jesse Hutch.
“Who doesn’t love Christmas movies?,” Jessica asked in a video posted to the Great American Media Instagram account, listing A CHRISTMAS STORY as one of her favorites.
JEP & JESS: BEYOND THE BAYOU will premiere on Great American Pure Flix in early 2026, hitting Great American Family and GFam+ later in the year!
