Podcaster Bryce Crawford shared his thoughts on why so many young people are seeking a relationship with Christ.
“We’re fed fluff through our phones, through desires, through whatever we think is going to satisfy,” he said during an appearance on FOX & FRIENDS. “Every human being is on a quest for love, and we try to fill that void with different things.”
Crawford continued, “And I think people are naturally understanding, ‘Wait, this thing isn’t working anymore. This isn’t going how I thought it was going to go.’ And so ultimately, people don’t just want a truth. They want the truth. And that would be Jesus.”

“I mean, we’ve lived for so many different things, different people, relationships, substances, different vices, and it doesn’t fulfill us,” he said. “And so people understand that we need something eternal and perfect that can sustain that. And Jesus is alive and active, and he’s doing that in people’s hearts who are hungry and ready to receive him.”
The podcaster also addressed young people that might be curious about Christianity, saying, “If you don’t like your life right now, then give it to someone who wants it. Jesus, very clearly, doesn’t need you, but he wants you. And that’s the love of God…that God so desperately wanted to love us, so bad that he was willing to die a death that he didn’t deserve for the sake of a relationship with you.”
The 22 year-old recently celebrated his marriage to Maddy Dodd Crawford. The pair tied the knot in January after getting engaged in 2025.
Crawford shared a photo on Instagram of himself getting emotional during the wedding festivities, writing, “To be frank, I was overwhelmed with many different emotions, but JOY was the most prevalent. The reason why I was joyfully crying was because God found joy in trusting me with Maddy despite all of my sin, flaws and history of being an idiot years before her and years before following Jesus.”
“Marriage is a picture of just that- Gods desire to be in intimate relationship with us despite us being horribly wretched individuals. It is HIS GRACE that I have been able to become a husband and it is HIS GRACE that He has loved us so deeply despite all of our rebellion against Him,” he continued. “Thank you Jesus for trusting me with Maddy and thank you JESUS for loving both Maddy and unto death.”
Crawford is currently on his “I Love Jesus” tour, where he invites “ cities nationwide to come together for worship, stories, and encouragement. In a time that’s hungry for light and joy, this live, podcast-style evening creates space to sing, pray, and remember where true hope is found,” per his website.
Crawford is one of many young people who are sharing a message of faith and hope with Gen Zers who are seeking a relationship with God.
