Episode 1 of YOUNG SHERLOCK on Prime Video reintroduces the world’s most famous detective. This time, he’s a young man in 1871 and learns how to solve a mystery and gets into trouble along the way. Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock’s older brother, bails him out of jail for picking pockets. Mycroft assigns Sherlock to work at Oxford University. There, Sherlock meets a kind math professor, a Chinese princess, and a student and fellow mystery-lover named James Moriarty. When some ancient Chinese scrolls go missing, Sherlock becomes the prime suspect. With Moriarty’s help, Sherlock must solve the case and clear his name.

YOUNG SHERLOCK’s premiere episode is a fast-paced adventure. It’s full of twists and turns, plus new characters to help and hinder Sherlock as he tries to solve his first case. Episode 1 of YOUNG SHERLOCK has somewhat of a moral worldview. Sherlock desires to recover stolen goods and bring a thief to justice. More Detail:

Set in 1871, YOUNG SHERLOCK’s first episode on Prime Video reintroduces viewers to the iconic character of Sherlock Holmes but as a young man who’s still learning the deduction skills that make him a famous detective, while he gets caught up in plenty of trouble.

In Episode 1, Sherlock leaves jail after his brother Mycroft pays bail and takes him to Oxford in hopes of encouraging him to clean up his act. Instead of enrolling in the university as a student, Sherlock takes a job as a campus cleaner.

While he works, Sherlock encounters all kinds of interesting characters, including a kind math professor, a Chinese princess, and James Moriarty, a student and fellow mystery-lover. Sherlock and Moriarty dive in a mystery when historic scrolls arrive on the campus by the princess go missing. However, they become the last two people seen entering the library where the scrolls remain.

So, to clear their names, Sherlock and Moriarty must find the missing scrolls and get into plenty of trouble along the way.

YOUNG SHERLOCK’s debut episode is a fast-paced adventure, with plenty of twists and turns to keep viewers guessing. The episode reintroduces this famous character and adds plenty of interesting new characters to add to the mystery.
