Tamera Mowry-Housley and husband Adam Housley are moving to the country!
“We’ve been dreaming about this for a long time. Getting out of the city, getting into the country, teaching the kids and all of us how to be more sustainable to the land, having chickens and an orchard and vineyard,” Adam shared, via PEOPLE.
The couple will be documenting their journey in a new webseries on YouTube, titled, THE HOUSLEY FARM: BUILDING OUR DREAM HOME.

“I’m so excited but also a little nervous and anxious because I’m a city girl,” Tamera, who grew up in Los Angeles, admitted.
In the premiere episode, the couple tour their new home, which has not been occupied since 2018 and needs some extensive renovations.
“What sold us on the property was obviously not the house but the setting. The house is going to be our design. Obviously, as a family, what makes sense for us,” Adam explained. “There’s a peacefulness here.”
The couple wed in 2011 after six years of dating. They share two children, son Aden, 13, and daughter Ariah, 10.
In a 2012 interview with Ebony, Tamera shared how faith guided their relationship from the very beginning.
“We wanted to make sure that this relationship was what God wanted for our lives,” she said. “[In order to know] if we are meant to be together, we said, ‘it’s got to be God’s way and not our way.’ We didn’t want to half-step anything…We said to God, ‘This is who we are, I know you take us as we are, our faults, our fears, our joys, our hope as a couple and have your way.’”
The SISTER, SISTER star also gave some advice to couples who are thinking about taking the next step in their relationship, saying, “Make that covenant with God and with each other and just let go. God is going to see you through the difficult times. Whenever you’re feeling discouraged just pray together. Like I said it’s not going to be a perfect journey, but you just have to keep God the center of your relationship.”
In an interview with Parents, Tamera spoke about how she juggles her Hollywood career with being a present mom, saying, “It’s very easy to not be present when you’re a working mom. You’re thinking of other things when you’re with your kids, and they’re asking you a million questions…but I learned the importance of making time to be there for their most important events.”
She also praised Adam for being a supportive partner: “He believes in me and my dreams. He wants to see me pursue them. He will hop on a plane, and he does it all… He cooks, he does my daughter’s hair, he drives them to school…He’s just a great father — we are partners in this thing.”
The first episode of THE HOUSLEY FARM: BUILDING OUR DREAM HOME is currently available to stream on YouTube.
