DUCK DYNASTY’s Willie and Korie Robertson just launched a new entertainment company that’s safe for the whole family.

“I think anyone who has a family, who has kids in their home are like, okay, how can we protect them from what’s out there in the world? It does feel a little bit scary right now,” Korie explained.

Many children today have access to adult content at their fingertips.

There’s “all this access to our children and their little hearts and minds,” she said. “How do we create a safe space for them in our homes and entertainment?

It’s all about choosing wholesome stories.

“We’ve been a part of telling good stories, and I think that it shows that, oh, people want that. Whenever the success of DUCK DYNASTY, the success of GOD’S NOT DEAD, and the success of THE BLIND, it is actually telling us, ‘Oh, people want more of this,’” she said.

People want to watch good values that they want in their own homes.

“We just want to be a part of putting out… some light in the world of entertainment,” Korie emphasized.

The Robertsons created the company, EKKL, with Michael Scott, who founded Pure Flix. EKKL is short for “ekklesia,” the Greek word for a group of people gathering for an important reason, Variety said.

“After years of seeing the power of faith-and-family storytelling firsthand, I believe the opportunity now is not simply to launch another platform, but to create a trusted home where entertainment, inspiration, and community can live together,” said Scott. “EKKL is built for families who want great stories, authentic voices, and experiences that add meaning to their lives. With Willie, Korie, Zach, and this incredible group of creators, we are building something designed to meet audiences where they are — in theaters, at home, in their daily life, and in the moments that bring people together.”

The company’s streaming platform will feature movies, shows, and daily scripture readings and devotionals. The company will premiere three theatrical releases this year and aims to distribute 7-10 movies annually. It will initially boast a library with 350 movies and series.

Willie said, “There’s going to be a lot of content, I think, pairing the not just the movies, but also TV shows, but podcasting. I mean, podcasting is so big. Korie and I listen to podcasts pretty much all day. We consume podcasts, we trade them, you know, listen to this, listen to this one, and so it’s a big deal for our family.”

The platform launched on July 8 and costs $5.84 per month.
