Enrollment in Roman Catholic schools in the United States has dropped 14% since 2000, by more than 380,000 students!
The problem is most apparent in inner cities, said the National Catholic Education Association, where enrollment has dropped more than 40% since their peak in the 1960s, from 5.25 million students to 2.27 million students.
By the way, one in every 10 American is a former Roman Catholic, according to the BBC.
