2012 Actor Cusack Calls for ‘Satanic Death’ of Fox News, GOP Leaders

Actor John Cusack went on an angry tirade against Fox News and conservative Republican leaders earlier this week.

Writing on Twitter August 29, Cusack said, with several garbled misspellings, “I am for a Satanic Death Cult Center at Fox News and outside the offices of Dick Armey and Newt Gingrich and all the GOP welfare freaks.”

Beverly Hills psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman, author of COPING WITH TERRORISM, warned Cusack’s tirade could incite a rabid fan to become violent.

“The fear,” she opined, “is that

someone who is already vulnerable, mentally disturbed, already considering something dangerous, may be encouraged to do so if it is advocated by their favorite star.”

“John Cusack is taking his fame too seriously,” image consultant Michael Sands said.

Cusack has more than 200,000 followers on Twitter. His publicist did not reply to calls and emails from the news media.
