Ever wonder what it takes to become one of the world’s most prestigious chefs? Gordon Ramsey’s upcoming Apple TV+ show, KNIFE EDGE: CHASING MICHELIN STARS, will show food lovers how it’s done.
KNIFE EDGE: CHASING MICHELIN STARS follows “the fates of elite chefs at some of the world’s most unique and celebrated restaurants to determine if they will win, maintain or lose that precious Star. From attempting to gain their first Star, tirelessly working to secure their distinction, or striving to achieve a second or an elusive third Star, each chef faces a deeply personal challenge,” Apple TV+ wrote in a press release.
The show will be hosted by Jesse Burgess, the presenter for TOPJAW, and Ramsey will serve as executive producer as well as Lisa Edwards and Morgan Roberts.
The Michelin Star is one of the most “prestigious and elusive culinary award in the world, recognizing the finest ingredients cooked to the highest possible standards,” the press release continued. “Filmed in cities from Los Angeles to London, Mexico City to Copenhagen, each chef attempts to win a Star or face the crushing blow of losing one, as the Michelin Guide’s team of inspectors use false identities and phone numbers to dine anonymously.”
Ramsey is the perfect person to executive produce the show as he has 17 Michelin Stars of his own.
“As a chef, the pursuit of perfection is everything, and you cannot underestimate the unbelievable drive and ambition, the determination and sacrifice these chefs are going through day in and day out, chasing the dream of acknowledgment from the Michelin Guide,” Ramsey said.
“There’s no honor in any industry as prestigious and influential as the Michelin Star,” Burgess added. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the stories of some of the most exciting restaurants in the world — as they throw everything, including the kitchen sink, at their obsessive quest for the ultimate award.”
Ramsey posted the news of the new show on his Instagram story, writing, “Super excited for our new @studioramseyglobal show on @appletv!”

The world-famous chef also has a new series coming out on Food Club Fox called SECRET SERVICE.
“I’ve seen some the grossest kitchens I’ve ever seen in my new series SECRET SERVICE where I go undercover to see what’s really happening at restaurants across the country…..here’s a first look ! Can’t wait for you to watch May 21st!” Ramsey wrote in a post on social media.
A premiere date for KNIFE EDGE: CHASING MICHELIN STARS has not yet been announced.
