Alexa PenaVega shared a sweet moment with her children that she believes led her to a message from the Holy Spirit.
“Okay, so there’s something I do with the kids where we put on worship music without words, and I just say, ‘Hey, draw whatever God is putting in your heart right now that He’s telling you, you know, just sit with it,’” the SPY KIDS star explained in a recent Instagram video. “And it’s a really great, fun, like, calming activity that we get to do, and I get to see what God is doing in their hearts, which is awesome.”
God connects with her in those moments, too, and PenaVega described a picture He gave her.
“God gave me a really cool, crazy vision that I wanted to share with you guys,” she said. “He gave me a whole bunch, but this is the one I really want to share. He kept showing me distorted wind, like a wind that was coming over everything but distorting everything. And He said, ‘It’s a wind that comes to distort clarity. So, stay focused and protect your eyes so you can continue to see clarity.’”

“That was so timely for everything that’s happening in the world today,” the mom of three reflected, “the chaos, the…distraction. Protect your eyes so you can continue to see clarity. Just sit with that.”
People in the comment section appreciated the message.

PenaVega’s message reminds us of Hebrews 12:1-2, which says, “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
In a world full of darkness, it is vital to keep our eyes on the right thing, and that’s Jesus and His truth.
Currently one of the “right things” PenaVega is focusing on is her partnership with World Vision to help children in need.
“We’re partnered with multiple organizations and just locally and worldwide. So we try to take our kids with us, even after big disasters, we’ll take them with us to help do cleanup and to help talk to families in need and serve,” the actress told Parade.
Whatever may be going to, we must always protect our eyes from distraction and focus on the things that truly matter.
