Podcaster and influencer Allie Beth Stuckey praised TCU’s women’s basketball star Hailey Van Lith for her boldness and vulnerability as she expressed her faith in God.
“It’s a blessing, but I’m really standing on God’s shoulders right now,” Van Lith said after TCU’s Sweet Sixteen win. “He’s delivered me from so much and so much pain and suffering and confusion. It’s all glory to God, truly. I would be nothing without Him.”
“In the darkest moments of my life, He never turned his face from me, and I just couldn’t be more grateful to experience His love in this moment,” she continued. “So, all those people who are wearing my jersey out there, it’s for a greater purpose. It’s God working.”
Stuckey applauded Van Lith’s decision to give God the glory.
“That is not easy to do. Not only to give glory to God when people are expecting you to give glory to yourself and your own hard work, but to be vulnerable and to share what He’s done for you, that takes a lot of courage,” the podcaster reacted. “That’s amazing. Praise God.
Stuckey often uses her platform and influence to share her faith.
In one post, the Christian cultural commentator shared her thoughts on the new faith-based movie KING OF KINGS.
“Overall, I really liked KING OF KINGS. I disagree with those saying it didn’t accurately represent the Gospel; I thought the creators depicted Jesus’s substitutionary sacrifice really beautifully,” Stuckey said in a post on Instagram.
She’s also written a few books, her most recent being Toxic Empathy, which highlights how worldly agendas have infiltrated Christianity.

However, Toxic Empathy isn’t “about killing empathy; it’s about submitting our empathy to God’s definitions of love, goodness, and justice. Stuckey exposes the logical pitfalls and moral consequences of toxic empathy, equipping Christians with research-backed, Biblical truths to dismantle the progressive lies that have permeated our culture — and our church,” a synopsis of the book reads.
Stuckey shared a quote from the book on Good Friday.
“All the wretched, bloody brokenness humanity has endured since Adam and Eve took that fateful bite of the forbidden fruit will come to an end,” she wrote. “We will once again walk in unhindered communion with our Creator. Sorrow, sickness, and sin will be no more. Because Jesus wins.”
As Stuckey continues to use her platform to spread the truth about the Gospel, highlighting stories like Van Lith’s will encourage believers to stand strong in their faith, no matter the situation.
