Los Angeles Angels outfielder Bryce Teodosio couldn’t be more grateful for the community of believers he’s found in his teammates.

“One of the most special parts of being up here with the Angels is last season, we started praying together,” Teodosio said in a video shared by Jesus Won Apparel. “There were a couple of guys that we started it with, and then towards the end of the season, we ended up having 15 or so guys praying together before all the games.”

“And just to have brothers in Christ on the team has been super special for me and just super fruitful, and I’m just very thankful for it,” the outfielder continued as he sported a “Jesus Won” t-shirt. “The baseball side is hard, the day-to-day is hard, being away from friends and family, but having God and just knowing that my identity is not in this game, it is in Christ, is what has helped me tremendously. It’s taken a lot of pressure off of me and just allowed me to be myself and try to live and honor and glorify Him in all that I do.”

Teodosio takes full advantage of the platform he’s been given through baseball and uses it to share about his faith in God.

In one post on his social media, the outfielder wrote, “Glory to God in the highest.”

“In awe of what God has done for me in my baseball career and, more importantly, my faith journey this past year!” he continued. “A struggle of mine is always wanting to predict and have control of my life. From my surgery to my incredible experience back in the bigs, I could have never predicted what 2025 would bring.”

Teodosio then referenced Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9 ‬(NRSV-CI)‬‬, which reads, “The human mind plans the way, but the LORD directs the steps.”

“I recently started praying The Rosary daily and can’t put into words the grace that has been showered on me through this beautiful prayer and meditation!” the athlete added. “God has strengthened me more than I thought was possible through this. It has helped me persevere in life and in baseball.”

As Teodosio continues his journey with the Angels, his commitment to Christ and the brotherhood of believers around him serves as a reminder that while baseball may shape his career, faith ultimately defines his purpose and sustains him through every season.
