“With no exaggeration, my favorite show on hgtv ever,” one user said. Another person added, “Congratulations guys! What a milestone!!! We’ll be stopping in Laurel next month on the way to Texas. Can’t wait to visit @scentlibrary.lmco !”
Scent Library, Erin’s custom candle company, came about as part of the couple’s desire to revitalize their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, through their store Laurel Mercantile.
“[In] Fall of 2016, Ben, Erin, and their 4 best friends made a commitment to revitalize their hometown of Laurel, MS. Together they opened our flagship store, The Laurel Mercantile. After months of hand selecting goods that would line the shelves of the store, Erin had an idea to create a custom candle that perfectly represented the smell of Laurel on its finest day — Sweet Olive Blossom,” their website explains. “The Laurel Candle was such a huge success — it was almost impossible to keep it on the shelf! Not only did people appreciate the American Made craftsmanship of the candle and vessel itself, but the story coupled with the calming aroma of the candle reverberated with people all across the United States.”
As far as HOME TOWN goes, fans can look forward to a fun new season of projects and renovations.
“This season, fans can expect the creative husband-and-wife duo to ‘complete an addition to expand a cramped lake house, face some unavoidable setbacks while trying to save a historic homestead, and revisit a house they’ve previously renovated to make room for a growing family,'” Southern Living reported.
