Christian Artist’s Latest Hit Tops All Genres on iTunes

Multi-time Grammy award winner Brandon Lake just dropped his latest single, and it’s already a hit.
“That’s Who I Praise” has already reached the No. 1 spot across all genres on iTunes. The song celebrates God’s power throughout history.
The lyrics to the song read:
I wanna dance like David, I want a faith like Paul
I wanna sing like Silas, tearing down those prison walls
I wanna face that fire, it won’t burn me though
God’s got my back, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego
I wanna walk like Moses, right through the waves
One day I’ll see that promised land, no longer slaves
Though the fear is talkin’, no it can’t take out my faith
Lake shared the news via Instagram and wrote, “#1 ALL GENRES! So cool, was going to sleep last night and found out that THIS is how much you’re loving the new song. Just cool thinking about those scanning the top charts and maybe just maybe they’ll be curious enough to play this and hear that THAT’S WHO I PRAISE!!! Thank you for the love!!!”
It’s obviously resonating with his fans.
“I feel like I know this song by heart from all the teasers, but listening to it as a whole, I had the most unexpected reaction,” one person wrote. “I thought I was going to be hyped and ready to dance it out, but instead, I crumpled into a ball of tears. Been dealing with depression lately and this reminded me of who God is and what He is capable of doing. That’s MY God! THATS WHO I PRAISE & it’s all going to be okay!!”
Another wrote, “People need Jesus! What a great song to draw them in!! Praying for you to reach many on your Summer Nights tour with Phil!”
The song wasn’t supposed to be out yet, but after teasing it on Instagram earlier this year and seeing fan responses, Lake decided now was the time.
“I am in awe of the response my new single, ‘That’s Who I Praise’ has gotten,” said Lake. “From social media, to the thousands of music video submissions, I decided to release this song way before the scheduled date. I hope this song shines light on who God was, is, and will forever be. This song is an anthem that takes the focus off of what we need from God, but more so praising God for simply who he is.”

Christian worship artist Phil Wickham and multi-time Grammy award winner Brandon Lake have partnered together to create a new song called “Love of God.”
“It’s Brandon and Phil, and we’ve got a brand new song for you,” Lake said in their announcement video.
“Yeah, it’s called ‘Love of God.’ You guys, this is a modern hymn that we wrote together with our buddies Cody Carnes and Benjamin William Hastings,” Wickham added. “We cannot wait to sing this on tour and with our churches, and we hope that it might be a blessing for all of you and all your communities.
He continued, “It’s filled with so much truth. Our hearts are bursting. We just finished a music video. Cannot wait for you to hear it. Sing it. Hope it’s a blessing.”
