Chris Pratt, a die-hard Seattle Seahawks fan, got to be on the sidelines as his favorite team won the Super Bowl this year. But the best part? Seeing the team pray afterwards.
“That was the best. That was one of the best moments of our lives,” Pratt, who took his son Jack with him, told TODAY host Craig Melvin. “It was cool. The best part was, I mean, winning the Super Bowl, and then afterwards, I got invited into — we got invited into the locker room and then we watched — it was so amazing for me and my son to see these guys.”
“The first thing they did — they are champions of the world, you know — the first thing they did, got down on a knee and said a huge prayer, and we joined hands, and it was so wonderful for my son to see these big masculine grown men conquer such an amazing achievement and then immediately give glory to God,” the actor recalled. “I thought it was incredible, man.”

Many of the Seahawks players and coaches gave God the glory throughout the entire season but especially at the Super Bowl.
“First and foremost, I want to thank God for this blessing to be here,” Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker told the NFL after the win.
Head coach Mike Macdonald echoed that sentiment, saying, “I believe God called me to be a coach, and I listened to Him, and I thank Him. We are incredibly blessed to be Seahawks, to be 12s, and now we’re world champions.”
He reflected more on his team during the post-game press conference.
“One of the great things about our team is we grow together and that’s part of my life that’s been a journey,” the head coach said. “My faith hasn’t always been strong. You have doubts; it’s kind of a roller coaster ride, and over the last few years, it’s been really strengthened. You see what our players do and what [team chaplain] Jonathan Rainey does every day and brings people together. It’s a journey that we’re in together. It’s empowering and it’s inspiring to pursue that part of your life that’s so important.”
How inspiring for Pratt and his son to witness the faith-filled conclusion to the Seahawks’ incredible season.
