Chris Pratt Thanks God ‘Every Day’ for His Son

Actor Chris Pratt’s firstborn son just celebrated his 12th birthday, and the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY star couldn’t be more proud.
“Happy Birthday to my wonderful son Jack,” he posted on Instagram along with a carousel of photos with Jack. “I thank God every day for you sweet boy. You are so smart, hilarious, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy and tough. I love you so much kiddo. Twelve!? I honestly can’t believe it.”
Many commented on the post, celebrating Jack and Pratt’s love for his kids.
“I love that you appear to be one of the very few people from Hollywood that are grounded, authentic, family oriented and a man of faith,” one user said.
“Happy ? Birthday to a special boy! God gives certain parents the good ones. ?❤️?” another person commented.
Pratt shares Jack with ex-wife Anna Farris and has two daughters — Lyla, 4, and Eloise, 2 — with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.
He previously shared that he hopes to parent his kids differently than how he was raised.
“I grew up, I did exactly what my parents said all the time. I never knew I could say ‘no’ to my parents,” he told E! News at the premiere of THE GARFIELD MOVIE. “And now I’m a guy who’s not super — didn’t have a super healthy grip on his own emotions. So, we’re trying to raise them in a way that they feel comfortable expressing themselves. They still know the meaning of the word ‘no’ from their mom. When it comes from me, they don’t seem to know what that means. And I don’t really know what to do about it, but we’ll get there.”

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple have a baby on the way, but Pratt and Schwarzenegger have yet to publicly comment…
It’s no surprise the couple is ready to add another member to the family — both Pratt and Schwarzenegger have talked about their desire for a big family.
“I come from a big family, so I love the idea of having a lot of kids around and a big family,” Schwarzenegger told Us Weekly. “Whatever God has in His plan for us is what we’ll do.”
Pratt echoed his wife’s feelings in a 2021 interview with E! News, saying, “I would love to have more, as many as the man upstairs will provide. We’ll do it. I’ll probably have to talk to Katherine about that but my plan is, let’s go.”
The couple confirmed speculations a few weeks ago with an Instagram post.
“In the first photo, we see Schwarzenegger in a flannel pink pair of overalls, smiling from ear to ear as she poses in front of the party….and, oh yeah, she shows off her growing baby bump! After weeks of speculation, the pair really did confirm it in the most adorable way,” SheKnows reported.
