UPtv just announced its upcoming Christmas line-up, and fans won’t be disappointed.

“Our upcoming Christmas slate is all about capturing the joy and wonder of the holiday season, along with a little bit of that holiday magic everyone loves,” Crissie Miller, vice president, content strategy and acquisition at UP Entertainment, said of the Christmas line-up.

The entertainment platform called this year’s slate the “Most Uplifting Christmas Ever.” It will feature over 50 days of holiday programming, including nearly 100 titles, eight premiere movies and the cable premiere of the series THE CHRISTMAS CHECKLIST.

The programming begins on Oct. 30, with Christmas films airing all day that include last year’s FESTIVAL OF TREES, A BLUEGRASS CHRISTMAS and NORTH BY NORTH POLE: A DIAL S MYSTERY.

“Our movies are full of heart and laughter, perfect for cozy nights and festive traditions,” added Miller. “We’re bringing our viewers a fresh take on holiday storytelling that’s warm, fun and unmistakably us. We are thrilled to kick off the holiday season on National Uplift Someone Day because what’s more uplifting than Christmas movies?”

Viewers can expect lots of Christmas fun, kicking off with two Christmas movie marathons, one on Thursday, Oct. 30, and another on Friday, Oct. 31.

In the close quarters of the cabin, secrets unravel, leading to unexpected discoveries about love and second chances.”

A CHRISTMAS MURDER MYSTERY will air on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. ET.

“Vera Vexley is the editor of the Metropolitan Ledger’s puzzle section, and a part-time consulting detective for the local sheriff’s office. This year, she has been invited to spend the holidays with family friends, the Sterlings, a wealthy family who appears to be hiding enough secrets to stuff a sleigh. Vera soon finds herself helming a murder investigation when someone is found dead on Christmas morning, putting her at odds with the quick-tempered and distraught family members. Can Vera find the culprit before the holidays turn even more deadly?” the movie’s synopsis shared in the press release reads.

It stars Jamie Bernadette (CHICAGO FIRE), Rob Mayes (THE ROOKIE) and Vivica A. Fox.
