Dave Coulier gave fans an encouraging update on his health after his recent battle with two different kinds of cancer.

“Hi, everyone. It’s me, Dave, and I haven’t posted in quite a while, and the last time I did, some of you, you know, said that I look differently and I sound differently, and I do,” the FULL HOUSE star began a recent Instagram video.

He continued, “What you’re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat, and I haven’t been able to eat solid food in months, and so I’ve lost 45 pounds. That’s what you’re seeing, and it’s affected my ability to speak. Some of you said that I sound differently. So yeah, you’re right on with what you’re seeing and what you’re hearing.”

He summarized some of what he’s been through over the last year or so.

“Just to recap, year and a half ago, I had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and I went through chemotherapy, and my hair is kind of growing back,” Coulier said. “And we got our PET scans back, and the prognosis looks good for both the carcinoma in my throat and the lymphoma. So we’re very pleased with all of that.”

Now that things are looking up, Coulier has been putting his energy into helping others live a healthier lifestyle.

“So offline, I’ve been very busy. I’ve been creating artwork, and I’ve been doing some creative writing, and I’ve been working on awearmarket.com, our non-toxic store, and so be on the lookout,” he shared. “In the next couple of weeks, we’ll be having some really nice, creative content that we’re going to do for Awear Market. And we’re looking out for your health.”

He concluded, “And so I wish good health to all of you, all right, and I hope I hear from you soon.”

People in the comment section shared their love and support for the star.

“You are so very loved, Dave. And truly no one is stronger than you. God bless you wonderful friend. Wish Bob was here to make you laugh,” one fan said. Another added, “As a cancer survivor, I really appreciate your openness. Thanks for spreading awareness and hope. Wishing you the best.”

Coulier announced he was in remission from stage III non-Hodgkin lymphoma last spring. He said, “[My wife] and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer. One of the few times in my life when ’zero’ has been a great number to hear.”

But later last year, he revealed his p16 squamous cell carcinoma, or tongue cancer, diagnosis. In February 2026, he shared he was in remission again.

He believes his “toxic” lifestyle contributed to his cancer, which is why he created Awear Market. It brings “cleaner, non-toxic products you can trust.”

“Your journey starts with just one thing,” Coulier said. “I thought, let’s build a website to help people. So I became a professional label reader. I’m very aware now, and it’s what I’m wearing on my skin, my clothing, everything.”

Coulier’s story is a great reminder that we can all take steps towards cleaner, healthier lives.
