PROPERTY BROTHERS’ Drew Scott Needs ‘Crash Course’ Ahead of Baby No. 2

PROPERTY BROTHERS star Drew Scott is expecting a new baby! In an interview with PEOPLE, Scott shared how he and his wife Linda Phan are preparing for the new arrival.

“We’ve just been in planning mode,” he said. “The funny thing is [their son] Parker, they’ll be about two years apart, so Parker will be 2, but I’m already forgetting a lot of, I had little tricks and little techniques and things for changing diapers efficiently and for feeding.”

Scott shared that he’s hoping he’ll remember how to take care of the new baby when the time comes.

“I’m forgetting all of it. So I think it’s going to be like a crash course again, as soon as I get into it, to figure it out,” he said. “But the main thing is Linda’s such a rockstar mom and she pours so much love into Parker and the family, and I try to do the same. I just am really excited to see Parker as an older brother.”

Scott’s first son Parker was born in May 2022.

Movieguide® previously reported on the couple’s conversations that have helped them navigate and balance parenting roles:

Scott and Phan have spoken about the ups and downs of parenting, especially in the early stages of a child’s life.

“[Linda] was good at letting me know what she needed to tackle everything, but after doing that it made me understand how easy it could be to just let Linda take the reins on everything Parker — I’m at work all day and she’s with him, so it’s easy for me to forget that I’m a parent here too and I have certain responsibilities,” Scott explained, adding that the couple’s “open dialogue…is a huge part of me being a better dad.”

“It’s not just about the baby, it’s also about your communication with your partner,” he concluded.

In addition to preparing for the new baby, Scott took to Instagram last week to celebrate his anniversary with his wife.

In a caption with a photo of him and Phan on their wedding day, Scott said, “14 years together, 6 years married, 2 babies and a lifetime to go. I love you more and more each day. Happy anniversary, Lindy!”
