DUCK DYNASTY Returns! Everything We Know About the Reboot
By Movieguide® Contributor
A DUCK DYNASTY reboot is on the way.
The new show, titled DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL, features two 10-episode seasons once again following the Robertson family.
“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home,” said Willie and Korie Robertson in a statement. “We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”
The original DUCK DYNASTY ran for 11 seasons before ending in 2017. The Hollywood Reporter said it was A&E’s and cable TV’s biggest unscripted series at the time, garnering 11.8 million viewers for the Season 4 premiere in 2013.

The new show will center around Willie, Korie, their adult children and grandchildren, all living together on their Louisiana homestead.
“With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy,” the logline reads.
“Secret’s out! 🦆 Our family is going back home to A&E with #DuckDynasty: The Revival!” she wrote alongside a video of her family dressed in camo. “It’s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same. New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun…ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too)! 😂”
Huff continued, “Our hope is for you to watch again together as a family and pray our show brings families back around the dinner table giving thanks to God and loving one another. Our prayer as a family is and always has been that we are bright lights for His Glory. We’re SO glad to be back! Stay Tuned!”
Fans in the comment section sound ecstatic, to say the least.
“😍woohoo! And all of America says thank you!” one person commented. Another added, “👏you’re kidding Sadie.. I’m SO excited!!!!!! TYSM for being the best tv fam ever😊😊😊.”
“The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of down-home practicality, Southern charm and relatable humor,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vp and head of programming for A&E and Lifetime. “DUCK DYNASTY played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival.”
The cast will look a little different from the original show, especially since patriarch Phil Robertson was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s last year.
