FULL HOUSE’s Dave Coulier says he’s near the end of his battle with cancer.

“It’s my own personal battle, and I’m battling it away,” Coulier recently told Parade. “I see the finish line, so that’s a really good thing to look forward to.”

He was diagnosed with B-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2024 and previously went through seven months of chemotherapy. He is currently under treatment for another form of cancer, carcinoma, and will have had 35 rounds of radiation at the completion of his treatment.

“To go through chemotherapy and feel that relief of whoah, it’s gone, and then to get a test that says, well now you’ve got another kind of cancer…it is a shock to the system,” Coulier said on TODAY last year.

Radiation isn’t as harsh as chemo, but “it can still knock the wind out of your sails at times,” he said.

“It’s a strange thing to have to accept that the first cancer was actually something that helped me find this carcinoma that’s in my throat, on the base of my tongue,” Coulier shared. “Had I not gone in for a routine checkup PET scan for my lymphoma, we would have never found this as early as we did.”

“So the prognosis improves with early detection, and my message all along to people has been early screening saved my life, not just once, but now twice. And so if you can catch these cancers early enough, you can treat them and you have a much different, better outcome,” he added.

He said he never wanted to be that voice for cancer awareness, but he’s “happy” to talk about it.

“…and talk about getting early detection and getting those mammograms and prostate exams and colonoscopies because they really can save your life,” he added.

Cancer took the lives of his mom, sister and niece. His other sister, Karen, is currently in cancer remission.

“Seeing the women in my life struggle the way that they did, it gives me a certain energy to carry on with strength that I saw that they had as they were battling cancer,” he said.

“I think, ‘Man, if I can just have 10% of that kind of strength, I’m going to be fine,’ being able to fight through this,” he said.

He recently founded AwearMarket, which informs consumers about non-toxic products.

“I always thought when I got this first diagnosis last year that I could help people in some way,” the actor said. “And so, we launched AwearMarket in December of 2025 here, and now, we’re going to make a big push towards not just being a website, but being a health and wellness company, and that will be under the Awear umbrella.”

“We want to start activating Aware ventures, which will integrate us into the community. And it’s not about selling products on our website. It’s about really getting people healthy again,” he continued. “And getting healthy can be, ‘Let’s go out and take a walk. Let’s go get some fresh air. Let’s drink more water.’ It’s those really simple things that can be a healthy start to your journey.”

In addition to looking forward to the end of his treatment, he’s been happy to be a first-time grandpa.

“Having a new grandson has truly been a light in the darkness. It’s amazing,” the actor said.

“We’re really looking forward to that chapter of our lives. And he’s such a great baby. He just smiles and laughs all the time,” he said. “We’re so lucky. And so 2026 is going to be about family, and helping our Awear family gain a health perspective.”

It’s wonderful that Coulier is embracing hope amid his trials.
