Great American Media is already getting fans amped for Christmas 2026.

The company recently reached a deal with the city of Branson, Missouri, and its local theme park, Silver Dollar City, to produce a new Christmas movie.

Great American Family announced on Dec. 22, “We are excited to announce our partnership with the City of Branson, Missouri, and Silver Dollar City to produce an original Christmas film, AN OZARK MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS, starring Brianna Cohen and Jonathan Stoddard as part of Great American Christmas 2026!🎄✨”

Branson has a reputation for creating wholesome family entertainment. Both Great American’s and the city’s values will be furthered through the new project.

As part of their agreement, Branson will extend its holiday light display into January while production is ongoing. Silver Dollar City’s “An Old Time Christmas Festival” will also make an appearance.

“Branson represents many of the values that define Great American Christmas — faith, family, and a strong sense of community,” said Kaitlyn Haubrich, Chief Brand Officer of Great American Media. “This partnership allows us to tell a story that is both genuine and grounded, while showcasing a destination that has remained true to its heritage. We are proud to work alongside the City of Branson and Silver Dollar City on a project that reflects what our audience values most.”

The movie storyline has Cohen starring as a young designer who comes home for Christmas at her sister’s insistent request. Once home, she reconnects with her faith and her family’s business and craftsmanship. Stoddard comes in to help her find a new purpose through her work.

Entertainment Now points out that Cohen and Stoddard are a very intentionally picked pair that many fans will recognize. The actors paired up together in Lifetime’s SISTERS ON THE RUN and SECRET LOVE TRIANGLE and UPtv’s SAVING THE CHRISTMAS RANCH.

Great American is apparently ready for Christmas 2026 already. Just one day after Dec. 25, its Instagram page released a video montage of Christmas clips titled, “364 days until Christmas.”

In early December, GAF started production on its first Christmas 2026 movie, LOVE UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE. It is filmed in Buffalo, New York, and stars Katie Leclerc and Jeremy Guilbaut.

“As we bring LOVE UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE to audiences, we continue to seek and nurture stories that make Christmas so meaningful,” said Haubrich. “The film is a reflection of faith, love, and enduring traditions that bring families together at Christmas – stories that distinguish Great American Christmas from other holiday movie collections.”

GAF said, “This story beautifully captures the spirit of promises kept, enduring love, and the true meaning of the holiday season!”

Cozy up, because it’s going to be another great Christmas — just 360 days away.
