Guy Fieri Celebrates America’s ‘Gigantic Pivotal Change’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is excited for America to “get back” to being the greatest country in the world.
“Now that our country’s made a gigantic pivotal change, we’re going to get back to doing what we do, and that is being the best country in the world, so everybody’s going to have a great time and a safe time,” he told Fox News while celebrating the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
Fieri touched on the city’s heightened security for the event, due in part to President Donald Trump’s presence, as well as the terror attack that took place there on New Year’s Day.

“I’ve been coming to New Orleans for a long time, I’ve got a lot of friends down here, met a lot of first responders last night, everybody’s on watch, everybody’s aware,” Fieri said.
The chef wasn’t just in town to watch the big game; Fieri was also hard at work pulling off his annual Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate Super Bowl party, a free event that offered attendees food and drink, as well as live performances from artists like Diplo and Flava Flav.
“We also carved off 2,000 of the tickets just to make sure that our brothers and sisters who are active military and veterans and first responders are available for them,” Fieri told Variety ahead of the game.

Fieri is also set to start working on another project soon. It was recently announced that he will be returning to Miami for the 2025 South Beach Wine & Food Festival, which takes place February 20-23.
He will be hosting a live version of his TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS TV show, while son Hunter Fieri will be co-hosting a celebrity chef pickleball tournament.
“I love Florida. I love the people. I love the culture,” Fieri told PEOPLE in 2021, shortly after purchasing a home in West Palm Beach.
