Hallmark star Nikki DeLoach had a “transformational” year that helped her appreciate God’s mercy.
She shared on Instagram on Jan. 7, “2025 was a transformational year. I shed layers, tears and fears, many that I had been holding onto for decades. I have never felt so openly vulnerable, raw.”
“I normalized reaching out for help, allowing my nearest and dearest to carry me, advise me, console me. I sank deeper. I paid attention. To everything. But especially to my-Self,” she said.
She asked herself questions about what things are her responsibility and learned she didn’t have to hold it all.
“I trusted. I leaped. I landed. In my body. In the spiritual eye of my heart. Anchored. Steady. Deeply humbled. Clear eyed. Grateful,” she wrote.
She wishes she could have learned some things earlier.

“But, my body wasn’t ready. I wasn’t ready,” she continued. “I can see now so clearly how God’s mercy is allowing me to learn and grow at a pace I can handle. I am grateful for that grace.”
For her, 2025 held pain but also held fulfillment through knowledge.
“But I was ready for this divine appointment. I could feel God’s love gently guiding me at every turn, whispering, ‘You are safe. You are loved. And soon you will be free,’” she wrote.
“Trust in the divine timing of your life. You are safe. You are loved. You are love. You are free. 💫” she finished.
Many people commented with encouragement and related with her experiences from last year.
One woman wrote, “Nikki everything is in God’s timing, we want what we want, when we want it, but God knows us better than we know ourselves and delivers what we need in perfect timing. You have arrived in perfect timing Nikki, just breathe and know He is God, and God is in Control. God Bless you Nikki and welcome to Gods [fold], you are loved ❤️🙏”
In another post, DeLoach shared her “word” for 2025: “Miracles.”
“Finding miracles on a good day, in the moments of celebration, ease and prosperity were easy. Finding miracles on the days that felt impossible, that was the work,” she reflected. “But I did it.”
“Whether it was James at the CA DMV who went above and beyond or the daily awareness of the (often) invisible miracle of breath in the lungs, I found them… the profound, the unexpected, and the delightful.”
In November, DeLoach opened up about abuse she experienced as a child, watching her child endure multiple heart surgeries and grief from her father’s death in 2021.
“Man, did it take me decades to untangle that and to learn to love myself,” DeLoach said of the abuse.
DeLoach’s recent posts indicate her resolve to open up her past and heal from it as she chooses strength and places her full trust in God — good for her!
