HGTV’s Jenn Todryk Says NO DEMO RENO Doing ‘Really Great’

By Movieguide® Contributor

HGTV star Jenn Todryk is talking all things NO DEMO RENO as the show enters its third season.

“I’m feeling good!” Todryk said of the new season’s reception. “It’s done, so far, just the data I’ve seen, it’s done really great. It’s been received well. It’s going up in viewership each week, which is amazing in Season 3. It’s hard to get that growth with a seasoned show.”

Movieguide® previously reported on the third season of NO DEMO RENO:

HGTV star Jenn Todryk is back for Season 3 of her popular renovation series, NO DEMO RENO.

Fans can expect 12 new episodes for the third season. Season 2 attracted over 18M viewers and became one of the top 3 cable programs of the year, Nielsen reported.

“Watching the energy and positivity that Jenn brings to all aspects of her life in No Demo Reno is like a breath of fresh air,” Betsy Ayala, senior vice president, programming and development at HGTV said of Todryk. “Her passion is palpable, and her unique design vision gives our home-obsessed audience new and different ways to approach renovation. More great ideas are in store for millions of her fans with this large episode order.”

NO DEMO RENO focuses on homes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and employs design solutions that do not require major demolition of the home.

Todryk is just as busy when the cameras aren’t rolling with her family and other business ventures.

“What’s hard is just what’s hard in any job and being a mom and a parent: it’s that work-life balance,” Todryk told D Magazine. “And sticking to boundaries, even if it makes people unhappy that day because I have one more thing that I’m supposed to shoot, and I can’t because I need to get home to put dinner on the table and get my kids off to their extracurricular activities.”

She also has a brewery and coffee shop that she runs alongside her husband, Mike.

She told TV Insider, “We own a coffee shop called Armor Coffee Co. in Allen, Texas. My husband now has decided to take on this passion project. We are actually distributing our craft beer as well. Making beer, distributing beer.”

“This is a brewery for the community to gather,” the HGTV star continued. “We wanted it to be fun enough on the outside on the weekends where people can bring their kids in a gated area while the parents can sit out and enjoy. Inside, it’s nice enough to hopefully be good for celebrations like anniversaries, and birthdays.”
