HGTV’s Jenny Marrs reflected on the “miracle” story of her twin boys’ birth.
“I have a feeling someone else needs a reminder that God is still in the miracle business,” she captioned an Instagram post.
In a series of photo slides, Marrs shared, “On April 29, 2010, I went to my doctor because I was having dull stomach pain…the attending doctor decided I needed to be transferred by helicopter to UAMS in Little Rock in order to deliver my too-early-to-be-born twins at a hospital with the capabilities to care for them.”

As a neonatologist shared the health risks involved for both Marrs and her soon-to-be-born sons, she “felt an overwhelming sense of peace and the words, ‘They will be okay,’ resonated in my spirit. I didn’t hear them aloud, but I have never been more confident of the voice of God.”
“As I sat in bed, unable to move, I talked to God: ‘They’re yours, Lord. You brought us this far, and I know you’ve got them…can you please keep them safe in there for a while longer?’” Marrs wrote. “I prayed that the Holy Spirit would fill the lungs of my boys with strength and might. I prayed that they would defy every odd we were given.”
She continued, “43,200 minutes later, they arrived. Each extra minute in utero was a miracle and answered prayer.”
“Thank you, Jesus, for answering my desperate prayer and for loving these kids even more than I could ever imagine,” Marrs concluded. “You have good plans for them and their story will always be a miracle story.”
The FIXER TO FABULOUS star has previously shared the story of sons Nathan and Ben’s birth.
In a 2023 Instagram post, Marrs wrote, “The boys were born four weeks after that terrifying helicopter ride through the Arkansas night sky. They had an equally terrifying entrance into the world and then were cared for with immense love and compassion for four more weeks by the NICU staff at our local Mercy Hospital…we are forever indebted to the nurses and doctors who cared for our boys in those precious newborn days. The fact that we were able to, 13 years later, stand on a stage and share their story with a couple thousand people is a story only God could write.”
In a 2022 interview with Closer Weekly, Marrs’ husband, Dave, shared that the twins “don’t really have a desire right now to be on TV,” but shared that Ben is “an artist,” while Nathan is “more the builder, like hands-on.”
Marrs’ recent post is a beautiful story about the miracles God can work in our lives.
