Florida police have officially closed the investigation into Hulk Hogan’s death, which is deemed to be from natural causes.

Hogan died last year on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, Florida.

“There has been no evidence to indicate the death of Terry Bollea was anything other than natural,” the report said. “Through the course of the investigation, there has been no evidence to indicate any criminal wrongdoing related to his death. This case will be closed, and will be considered solved, non-criminal.”

According to the police report, Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily Hogan, along with a home health aide and an occupational therapist, were there when he stopped breathing. Sky called 911, and the three of them performed CPR on Hulk.

Hogan had leukemia, an irregular heart rhythm, pneumonia and kidney failure in the weeks leading to his death.

The occupational therapist previously told police that Hulk’s death was related to damage to his phrenic nerve that occurred during a recent surgery. The occupational therapist later said that he was still rattled from performing CPR and spoke out of turn, PBS reported.

The local medical examiner said Hogan died from a heart attack, and a private autopsy ordered by the family confirmed the same.

When Hulk passed, Sky wrote, “He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.”

Hulk’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, who owns a Nashville-based design business, stars in ROCK THE BLOCK Season 7, where she reflected on her late father.

“Half of me is like, ‘I can’t believe I’m here.’ I can’t believe that design is what I ended up doing. I wonder if my dad would be proud and be like, ‘This is cool,’” Brooke told her partner on the show, Scott McGillivray.

She wasn’t talking with her dad before his death, so she never told him she would be on the show.

She said, “But I told my husband, I was like, ‘I wonder, I wonder if my dad would be proud knowing that I’m doing this.’ You know, ‘I wonder if…’”

“I hope he is proud…” Brooke said, “I love what I do, and it felt like all the work and the things I’ve been doing in the shadows, it kind of just made me feel a little bit like I have something still left.”

With the investigation now closed, hopefully his family can be relieved that he died of natural causes and is resting in Heaven.
