Great American Family’s A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ will soon be available to stream on Netflix!
“Well my favorite movie I’ve ever worked on is coming to @netflix starting this Friday,” Jen Lilley, one of the movie’s stars, posted on Instagram. “Just one of many super exciting updates coming Nov 1!!”
A synopsis of A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ reads, “Emma relinquishes her job so a colleague with a family will keep his. Contemplating life’s next steps, Emma meets a professional dancer, Leo whose love for competitive dancing is waning, until a once in a lifetime opportunity arises for the novice to join the pro and sweep all of Paris off its feet.”
A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ received favorable reviews from audiences and critics alike, including Movieguide®.
PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ stands out from other Christmas romances. Director Michael Damian brings lots of pizzazz to the movie in the vibrant dance numbers, abetted by a lush score by Nathan Lanier. It’s a joy to watch Jen Lilley and Matthew Morrison, as Emma and Leo, work their magic on the dance floor and in a fun dance routine with a street band. A powerful rendition of “O Holy Night” frames the movie’s climactic, impressive dance number. A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ also mentions answered prayer, God and the Baby Jesus in Nativity displays.

GLEE’s Matthew Morrison stars in the movie alongside Lilley.
“Christmas movies just bring so much joy. I love them,” Morrison said in an interview with PEOPLE. “There’s so many of them, and I think there’s so many for a reason. You want to have those feelings that it evokes for the holidays.”
He shared that, despite his extensive dance experience, the dancing in the movie was a bit of a challenge.
“I had to unlearn a lot of stuff that I knew because ballroom and Latin are so different and such different counterpoints and timings and stuff, so it was really challenging to unlearn,” Morrison explained. “But then once I got it, it was such a feeling of accomplishment.”
He continued, “Jen was not much of a dancer going into this, so that made it very special. It was also special just having two weeks of just dance rehearsals before we even started shooting. It really built up the chemistry between her and I and going into it.”
A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ also received a Movieguide® Teddy Award, which executive producer Brad Krevoy accepted at this year’s Movieguide® Awards ceremony.
