19 KIDS AND COUNTING star Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, announced a new children’s book after their daughter, Felicity, came home from school in tears.

“It started with a conversation we had with our daughter Felicity,” Jinger said on Instagram of what inspired “You Always Belong.”

“One day after kindergarten, she got in the car holding back tears, and when I asked her what was wrong, she said, ‘Everyone was laughing at me.’ She didn’t want to cry in front of her friends, and she didn’t really know how to process that pain she was feeling,” Jeremy explained.

“We told her, ‘Even when others are laughing at you, God isn’t laughing at you, and in Him, you always belong,’” Jinger shared.

“That moment actually inspired our newest project — it’s a children’s book, and it’s called ‘You Always Belong,'” Jeremy said.

“You Always Belong” is perfect for children aged 4-8 and challenges kids to ask, “Who am I?”

“What do you say when your little one bursts into tears after school?” the couple asked in the caption. “Do you teach them to fight back? Call the teacher? Or do you try to help their little heart process a world where not everyone will always like them or treat them kindly?”

“You Always Belong” also takes inspiration from Jinger’s book People Pleaser: Breaking Free from the Burden of Imaginary Expectations, which debuted earlier this year. It explores the same “Who am I?” question and follows Jinger’s “journey of self-discovery” to relying “on God for her approval and sense of self-worth.”

“You Always Belong” is like People Pleaser “but written for children, helping them respond with love and courage instead of fear, and reminding them their identity isn’t tied to what people think.”

In the book, children will learn about:

  • God’s unconditional love.
  • That their worth comes from being his child, not from their performance.
  • How to break the cycle of habits, mindsets, and peer pressure that self-sabotage.
  • The importance of obedience, self-discipline, and character-building, while understanding these are expressions of kindness and love.

“…our children live in a broken society. We are blessed to have people like you who can ignite hope to our children. Thank you!” one follower commented on the announcement.

Johnny Ardavanis, a pastor from Tennessee, commented, “👏🏼”

“Can’t wait to get a copy!” another person wrote.

“You Always Belong” is available now for pre-order, slated for a Feb. 17, 2026, release. The Vuolos pray it will be an invaluable “resource for you and your family” and help your children root their identity in God.
