Jonathan Isaac gave an inspiring message at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C, as his signature shoe, Judah 1, debuted in a new display at the museum.

“The Judah 1 shoe line was the first NBA shoe to be worn with Scripture manufactured visibly on it,” the display of the shoe reads, per CBN’s Faithwire.

During his speech, Isaac encouraged listeners to focus on what they can do for Christ.

“I was sitting down thinking to myself … ‘What does all this mean? Like, God, help me make sense of it all,’” Isaac said, reflecting on the honor of the display. “And the one thing that I felt like He was saying to me was, there were moments in my life where I placed ultimate value on what was ultimately valueless, while not focused on what was truly valuable, which was my relationship with Christ.”

“When I look at this moment, to me it’s like this is my MVP — this is my hall of fame,” he continued. “Only what you do for Christ will last.”

Matthias Walther, chief marketing officer of the Museum of the Bible, introduced Isaac and explained that “The Bible is full of people who have impacted the world around them in lasting ways.”

“Believers around the world keep writing those stories,” he continued. “One of them is Jonathan Isaac, who, by faith, turned a challenging situation into an opportunity. His inspiring story and his UNITUS shoes with 1 Samuel 2:30 stitched on are…a natural fit for our Impact of the Bible gallery.”

In an interview with CBN News, Isaac explained why he decided to create UNITUS.

“I’m gonna be able to give glory to God but also do justice to what a shoe would look like if it were created by a Christian,” Isaac revealed. “And so we were going to have Bible verses on all the shoes. And that ballooned into a bigger idea of why just do this for me? Why not equip the saints, the believers all across the country and the world, with footwear that has Bible verses on them?”

“And then that turned into why just footwear? And just, you know, it has ballooned into an entire brand centered around creating touch points for the believer to connect to each other and to Christ,” he explained.

The new display featuring Isaac’s shoes is a powerful reminder to stand firm in the faith wherever God places you.
